I have been guiding Muskies on Castle Rock, Petenwell, Redstone and Parts of the Wisconsin river for over ten years.

I average from one to two muskies per trip, in the boat through out the season. I guide strictly musky because that is my passion, so I take great pride in being able to specialize in sharing it with you. Everyone that gets in my boat tends to have a lot of fun, and so do I. That is what it's all about.

I have been a guest co-host and videographer for the award-winning television show, “Fishing with Joe Bucher” for 5 years.  You can find and watch many exciting FWJB television segments on YouTube by following this link:

Chas Martin - Musky Mastery Guide Service

To pursue my passion for outdoor education, I started Musky Mastery Guide Service in 2006, a multi-species guide service specializing in musky and bass.  Based out of Three Lakes, Wisconsin I focus my guiding on the famous Three Lakes and Eagle River chain as well as the Sugar Camp chain but I do not limit myself to just these great bodies of water alone.  I have found success on many other lakes and flowages in Vilas, Oneida and Forest counties and scouting, dialing-in and catching fish on new lakes and chains has become an obsession!

I pride myself on running a guide service dedicated to educating the angler.  Catching big muskies and bass is of course a top priority while out on the water but I also strive to answer some of the more challenging questions for my clients, such as why I choose to fish specific locations and implement certain techniques based on the time of the season.  Locating and catching fish consistently, any time throughout the changing seasons is a challenge, so I rely on my background in ecology to help me and I want to pass this knowledge on to my customers.
